Privacy policy
This website is an information and contact page. It has no registration and no contact form, and it sets no cookies. Reach is measured with a cookie-free service that only reports aggregated figures (see section 6).

2. Scope of processing
We process personal data only to the extent technically required to provide this website and to handle enquiries that you send us by email.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you open a page, the host processes technically necessary data in server log files (including IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, browser type and version) to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, working website). As processing may also take place in the USA, any transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Fonts
The fonts used on this website (Inter Tight and JetBrains Mono) are served locally from this server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other third party, and no data is passed on in the process.
5. Contact and booking
If you contact us by email, we process your details only to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for the enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
The “Book a 30-minute call” buttons link to our booking page on Google Calendar. This is an external link: visiting this website does not transmit any data to Google. The booking takes place on Google's page, where Google's privacy information applies. If you book a call, we process the details you provide there (in particular name, email address and the selected time) to arrange and hold the call. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Links to LinkedIn are plain links. No LinkedIn plugin is embedded, so no data reaches LinkedIn unless you click the link.
6. Reach measurement (Vercel Web Analytics)
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics, a service of Vercel Inc. (address in section 3), to evaluate website use statistically. The service works without cookies and without cross-site tracking. According to the provider, no personal identifiers are collected that would recognise users across websites or applications.
To tell visits apart, a hash is formed from the incoming request. This assignment is not stored permanently and is discarded automatically after 24 hours. According to the provider, the data points collected are linked neither to an IP address nor to an identifiable person, and evaluation is aggregated only.
The data collected includes in particular: time of access, URL and page path, referrer, filtered query parameters, approximate geographic origin (country, region, city), operating system and version, browser and version, and device type.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a statistical evaluation of website use). As processing may also take place in the USA, any transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You may object to the processing at any time (see section 7). Beyond this, the website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or other tracking services.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, write to lukasz@ritan.io.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority competent for the controller is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland. You may also contact the authority of your habitual residence.
